Warning, Adult sites are being posted by an anyonmous user!

Some one is spamming Wesnoth adult sites. Worse still, he is doing it in some weird language (sorry, I don't know what it is). Here is an example:

[removed by mod: it's really not smart to help the spammers like this]

Do not, I repeat, DO NOT open these sites. Do not even open up his post. Ignore him and report it to the moderators, and hopefully this disgusting, perverted, misuse of the Internet will be deleted shortly.

oh yeah, and to the guy doing this crap:

reminds me of a nice quote:
In a perfect world... spammers would get caught, go to jail, and share a cell with many men who have enlarged their penisses, taken Viagra and are looking for a new relationship.

It's called "Spam From Beyond".

And I don't know why Mods don't delete the posts as soon as they see them.

Using guest accounts is a new tactic. I don't know if you can still ban their IP addresses (probably yes).

Why delete my example? It wouldn't help spammers, it would only serve to alert users on the nature of their posts.

Hardly takes a genius to figure out that stopping guest posting fixes such a loophole...

Well, it is good to allow guest postings for many reasons. A compromise (although perhaps a pain to implement) would be to not allow guests to post links.

As for us moderator, we do delete them as soon as we see them, although not all moderators can moderate all forums. When that happens we usually contact a moderator that can. Still, the best bet is if forum users help us moderators by immediatly PM'ng the moderator of a forum that is spammed. This will reduce the time that the post stays up.

I don't think we should eliminate guest accounts either. The board is active enough that we still outnumber them. If it gets worse, then maybe, but it's up to ettin.
