I have a problem when I try to connect to the server, it pops up the word "remote host disconnected" what happened?

I seem to be having the same problem, I assume the server is down but have had no confirmation as to if thats true or not. Try going on server2 it is working fine. When you start up multiplayer like you usually do click the second option which is connect to server. there will be a view list button click on that then click the second option it will be server2. Hope this helped

Yes the server is down. Please use the alternate servers for now.

when i attempt sever 2 it a window pops up and says invalid WML and something about no quotes... and it prompts me for UN and PW but wont let me log in

I still can't connect to the sever despite the other thread on here saying the problem was fixed. I get the same thing when I try and connect to wesnoth.org:14998 sever which I think is the 1.8 one. I get to the 'Reading from server' window, which stays on 0%, then see an empty lobby page briefly before the window closes. Any ideas please?
