"Client Disconnect"

My friend and I downloaded the new development version of Wesnoth, and whenever we tried to make a game, it didn't work. Whenever he joined a game I made, he'd get "Client disconnect" and automatically exit out. I could join his game, but after he started it, I got the same message.

Version: 1.5.11-1.6beta3
Operating system: Mine is windows XP, and his is Windows Vista

I dont know her set up, but I had someone who had a similar problem. She could not join any game, she had to host - and she couldnt access the add-on's server.

She uses a MAC.

Ferrous: have you checked this post about that problem on Windows?

If you check the main page, there is a new download that has fixed that problem.
Mainline Maintainer: AOI, DM, NR, TB and THoT.
