msvcr71.dll file missing
OK I HAVE DOWNLOADED THE LATEST STABLE VERSION BUT EVERYTIME I TRY TO RUN IT I GET AN ERROR SAYING "THIS APPLICATION HAS FAILED TO START BECAUSE msvcr71.DLL WAS NOT FOUND." I HAVE RE-INSTALLED IT COUNTLESS TIMES AND REDOWNLOADED IT ABOUT TEN TIMES IM AT A LOSS CAN ANYONE HELP?

calm down man, yer it was not on purpose i still had the error thing over the screen while i was typing it , so sorry, i put it in here so i could get a quick answer

ok thanks guys i got it working, but not i cant join the server just keeps saying host not found

hmm well i had a similar msv problem just now, solved it, thanks to the nifty *SEARCH* engine we have here. Rather than necro-ing that thread, Just want to say thanks to whoever it concerns.
