Well said, guy who is obviously not a noob. Any h4xor will tell you that it is better to crush your enemy first (with the army that you have), and then increase the size of your military later. Come to think of it, Rumsfeld would be as good at Wesnoth as he is in reality.

I partially agree with him. It depends on several factors, but the reason why it was said is that attacking now you may have good chances of winning the battle, but later the enemy will be prepared so what it seems perfect may be a disaster.

So do not be so sure of that statement

Yep; ghosts don't drain, and if the archer is in forest/mtns/village, he's actually got a better chance to hit the ghost than the ghost does him.

Furthermore - even if the archer is doing only 1 damage per hit, 4hp is a big chunk of the ghost's HP. And archers often do 2 or more damage per hit to the ghosts, IIRC.

All elf archers? L1 only.

I find it a pretty effective advancement strategy to use elf archers for destroying undead fighter units when these are under 5 HP. It's also effective against ghost when it's not night (never attack a ghost with a archers at night).

pwn and own are the same thing, except that pwn is a typo that got adopted and began an internet expression like own, I believe. Anyways Lizard sucks, he doesn't even replace the "t" with 7
