Eastern Invasion: How to hunt for ogger?
What a special thing. These oggers drive me crazy.
If I attack - the oggers will dye.
If I do not attack they kill my white mage or the dragoner.
And third when I hold distance they escape to the mountains.
How is it possible to win this Scenario

You still win if they escape/are killed. You don't need the ogres. (Some think they're not useful at all. I'm trying to change that).

The ogres are ok as a defensive or fast unit on mountains
Maybe they should level up faster or so, they did so fast in the beginning, it seems to me. or maybe that is the campaign.
I successfully hunted the ogres. The correct inital positioning is logical, and then you need a little luck not to get hit too much

They are cheap bastards who actually fight fairly well in caves. I love ogres.turin wrote:You still win if they escape/are killed. You don't need the ogres. (Some think they're not useful at all. I'm trying to change that).

no one here seems to be answering the question, so:
I believe that to win the scenario & get the ogres, all three don't need to survive. In any case, on the version I did them on it was possible to surround them, and then wait it out. If you weaken them, I don't think they attack as often, so that is also an option.
If I'm wrong, at least people will correct me, and then actually provide an answer to you question, Hochbass.
Hoffentlich habe ich dein Frage antworten, aber ich bin immer nicht Recht.

easy ogres
what i did is to lure them is a roundabout with my white mage healing the injured.. of cos i position in a way that only one of them can hit me at a single time.. i managed to tame the ogres in the second try.
