Goblin Spam!

Post by Zigg »

You'd be surprised how well it works. You can mass produce them and they cost no income. It works better if there are lots of villages on the map and high gold per villages. You should recruit only goblin spearmen, and 1 or 2 wolf riders.

Something I wondered: which would win between goblin spam and WC spam? I'd guess WCs, due to being cheaper, and having Plague. But i don't know...

We did. Zombie apocalypse ensued. Though as the end of the game demonstrates, against even Grunt spam, it probably wouldn't have.

Unfortunately, I don't keep replays >.< Fortunately, there's always the replays server :D

i downloaded the replay turuk posted, but when i tried to watch the replay wesnoth said it was from another version. i told it to load it anyway, but the file was corrupt (though that's not really surprising). same thing happened with thespaceinvader's replay.

We played on 1.7.2, not 1.6.

It's not quite that entertaining. As you can expect, WC wipe the floor with gobbos.

while the match itself was not that entertaining, some of the entertainment was seeing someone actually do this. the undead recruit animation was kind of cool too.

looks nice ... on first sight

but then i cannot imagine that gobbos wont get totally slaughtered by skeletons ;)
and then the skeletons will level ... and finally ... total victory of undead

i would not spam wc against mass gobbos ;)
The best bet is your own, good Taste.

I myself have used this, only I make 5 grunts, which sneak up along the line, and decimate the enemy column. :lol2:

Why not? You just keep making more WC on your own then.

That is not goblin spam though, which is the point of this thread.

Why not? It works. WCs are cheaper, can kill a goblin in 3 hits, and keep multiplying.
