Do they have a ranged attack? They can swing the hammer sideways and launch the nail.

And how he attacks north? Or is this not going to be a unit?

You know, once upon a time, not really long ago, there were no directional attacks at all... And if you read the whole thread, you'll notice that the author wrote that directional attacks will come later.

dreampilot wrote:Alright, thanks for informing me. Yeah I think it needed enough frames to show how they actually attacked. I will worry about directional attacks in a later stage when I have the rest done. It should be a quick job and they would be playable before that.

Here's the finished version of the nailers. They turned out alot better with the suggestions. Thanks everyone :)

I may note; that eventhough it's a very awesome animation; the guy holding the hammer will now "slide" towards the enemy; the other two have actual movement in the frames, so it won't really happen for them; however I'm pretty sure the hammer holder'll look a bit off unless he jumps up or something (To avoid the sliding)

Ofcourse I could be wrong as I haven't seen the animation in-game; But this is just so you keep it in mind.

If you look closely he moves his feet. perhaps it's not prominent enough. Also yes directional attacks are a later worry.

Still working on animation. Time is limited and they will not be done before christmas unless I find more time then the odd hour now and then

I mixed up my threads.

Not sure if there is any interest at all for these guys anymore but had finished some animations for them before. Been a long time away from this project but put together a sheet to comment and suggest things about their animations/attacks/deaths etc.

Sorry about the poor quality. GIF can only handle 256 colors. All original images are in PSD or PNG format

Took me a moment to realize that that was a "thumbs up" emoticon, and not an odd way of spelling "boob". :P

Welcome back, dreampilot! I was wondering what had happened to these guys. They might be a little too odd for mainstream, but they're entertaining and well executed, and I'm very glad to see they haven't been abandoned.
