Wormasaur’s art

Post by Wormasaur »

Hi Wesnoth internet,

First attempt at pixel art  Maybe this will be useful as a monster for some UMC.
If I get around to it I may update with some standing animations...

Looks quite nice. One thing you could try is to use colored outlines instead of black. For example dark green on the leaf.

This is good pixel art indeed, but it is out of proportions to be used in wesnoht - i guess.

This looks a little pillow-shaded - that is, as though it is lit from every direction, rather than from one angle. Wesnoth generally uses a light source in the north-east, I believe.

Other than that, I like it!
If presented with the opportunity, I would take great pleasure in becoming a world ruler.

Good point. I guess I was trying to limit myself to too few red shades. I’ll get around to doing an update of the first sprite soon. In the meantime, a twisted root!
