Hey, hey, hey; I tried to follow all critiquing, and this was what I got :) :
I moved his legs apart a couple of pixels, so that I could give them better outlines.

Do you guys like it? Did I follow directions pretty well? Can you see anything else that needs to be changed?
I'm finally admitting that this will be a very long (if not permanent) Wesbreak. Thank y'all for the great times, and may Wesnoth rise to become one of the most popular games on the planet.

I tried to soften the elbows, I'm not sure if I did it right. But anyway, here is the unit:

the one on the left needs more definition so that it isn't looking like there is only half an arm there, although the one on our right looks good

You should never use black for outlines, only a darker version of the same color.

You have done well in this for the most part, but the outline of the hair needs to increase in value if you plan to keep it the same color. Alternatively, you could make his hair a dark brown or black and that outline might work fine.

Argh, me sees transparent pixels. :augh:

You never want to have any transparent pixels in a sprite, except for the shadow, of course. And when you're outlining something, alternate between two shades of the same color so that it helps show where the light's coming from. A quick edit to show my meaning:

Wow, thank you artisticdude :D ! Yeah, now I see what you mean. Here is my latest version, using artisticdude's outlining techniques:

Is this one done, or does anyone else see something that still needs to be changed?

Edit: Whoa, I posted this picture, and it looks a whole lot lighter on the forums. Is the added brightness a bad thing or a good thing?

It looks... Tolerable, I guess. You're pretty much done with it until someone (cough) decides in a few months or whenever that he wants to redo it :P Yeah, I suck at giving constructive crit, but that's because I didn't really have any to give on this one and Huston wanted me to give an approval.

Yea, it'll work for now, I make take a look at it and see if I want to change anything, (before someone redoes it) but I might not get a chance, (RL is so much fun isn't it? yeaaa...).

I don't see anything that's hugely wrong and don't have the energy to take a closer look at it right now. (after all, saturday is work day at my house.)
