Level 3, please comment. :) Is it weird the level 2 has sword or lance and level 3 has hammer?

Yes. As a general rule, when a unit is upgraded, at least one of the choices retains all original weapons and abilities. Besides which, I cannot imagine anyone using a battle hammer from horseback. A war hammer is a two-handed weapon, so your unit needs (1) a good connection with his horse, (2) enough strength to wield a hammer one handed, although by then he may be too heavy for the horse, or (3) a third hand growing out of his chest to control the reigns. :lol2:

You my friend clearly never played much fantasy warhammer :P (knights of the white wolf)

As for the sprite, i do like the lvl 3. However there are faults. The whole thing looks a little "square". I.e. the hammer and the shield both have 90 degree angled corners, which makes it look very 2D. Curve the edges slightly on the shield like the steelclad's Image

Also you colours are a little limited, i would suggest a wider range to make the sprite more interesting. Add a little more detail on the shield for example.

Good stuff though :)

Thanks! :D Well, I do that tomorrow. Right now I'm playing a long game, (The Zones) so I don't do it now. Hmmm I first made the shield's corners curvy, and the hammer, but I didn't like how it looked like...

Sorry for the double post, but I made a simple edited sprite. Snow Goblin. How does it look?

It looks more like a buff, white ninja goblin to me. But it looks nice.

Well, maybe, it does! Hmm... What would make it more snow goblin-ish?

Try and think, when I've been crit on my sprites by the space invader he is often very vague at times. The reason is, if you ask people how to do something, then it isn't your sprite, but its part theres as well 'cause they told you how to do ti, holding your hand the entire time.

It's not a problem. If you call it a snow goblin, then it definitely looks like one. But if you called it a "Buff Ninja Goblin," no one would say "That doesn't look like a buff ninja, it looks like a snow goblin." But I think what makes it look like a ninja is the lines crossing the body, they make it look like it's cloth wrapped around him.

Hmm... He is wearing a winter jacket, you know, a big jacket. It looks like that, I think. Anyway, I'm going to use this in the Mystic Era.

I suggest less lines in the clothes going horizontal-ish to make it more snow goblin and less buff ninja goblin.

Hmmm.... Maybe, but I now use that. Oh, and is there a way to make a ranged and melee attack? I mean, the same attack would be ranged and melee?

Yes. You would need to use 2 different copies of the attack, one ranged, one melee. They may need to have slightly different names, too, i'm not certain of the WML. They would also need to have different animations.

They can use the exact same animation and the same name, the ids probably need to differ, but they can share everything else.
