You would, wouldn't you!

I'll see

oh, and a really tiny edit to the noble...I moved his hat down some, because it was way too high, as well as lengthened the blade a bit, to distinguish it (plus, nobles would have some experience in fencing, hence a slightly better weapon)

I still dislike it though :/

@Ken Oh, do you have a picture of the headgear you wanted him to have? it's familiar, but don't quite know what it is supposed to be--kinda beret-like?

I was trying to make this: http://www.precious-times.eu/medieval%20nobleman.jpg

But, I'm specifically failing to make the effect of the vertical folds.

That looks good though. Thanks again.

That's because that's exactly what it's like in the Peasant unit images.

Good catch. I've been hesitant to mess with shadows, but, with you noting it, it would look a lot better if I did something.

EDIT: fixed Squire and added Initiate

EDIT #2: Here's the Brute. If anyone wants to make his attack look better, feel free.

Since both mages and adepts have female versions I thought I would try to make a female initiate.

Is this a blade or a pierce attack? It looks like a combination of both.

That is an animated gif featuring both attacks, obviously these animations would have been separated on the unit config, so instead of having a dual attack, he has two different attacks (a pierce and a blade one).

I'm wondering if I can use the Initiate for a project of my own (I know I can since it's all GPL, but it's still polite to ask). If I could use it I'd also try to make a female variant based off of the female mage head if you haven't started work on it already...

I'd love to see an era which basically bundles these lvl 0 units and WML for any projects that need to use them, at least the humans which are higher priority for an RPG.

P.S. It would be useful to have a link to the other thread in the first post.

Yes, please use what you will.

I'll get on the era idea when I get around to including everything else. I know there was a peasant era before, so maybe this will work like that.

With the Initiate, I'd rather they just held the book out in front of them (as if they were reading it) and had no staff attack. (You do realize that you're violating RIPLIB with some of these?)

The civilian's knife is jutting out at an odd angle from his pants. I'll leave you to think about that one.

Also, it seems odd that the brute would look so similar to his chaotic counterpart but also potentially level into a loyal unit. Maybe get rid of the leather armor and just have him be a muscular dude.

The Thug wears leather armour? I thought that was just a tunic...
