There's still an edge of brown on the upper right of his hood, which makes his clothes look dirty. I'm guessing you just missed that spot in recoloring?

Actually, with my untrained eye, I can see many spots in which there are still traces of the original brown shading; if this can be replaced with a shade of green the problem would probably be eliminated.
And in both sprites, something simply isn't right with the cross on the staff.
IMO, these problem's aren't too big, and they can certainly be fixed to result in something really nice.

very nice but the glow from the first one is a little off because of the moving.
the cross thing still needs a little adjustment.

You fixed the brown edges but in doing so seem to have destroyed the shading in that upper-right corner of the sprite where the brown on the hood was. It seems rather flat looking now, try redoing the replacement of the missed brown with a darker green than the rest of the hood.

just wondering, how are you going to fit green magic-users with pirates? :)

I don't believe he intends to put green mages and pirate together, he's just making different sprites. (Correct me if I'm wrong.)
What's this annoying thing that appears at the bottom of every one of my posts?

Wzultzbach is correct, I'm just making different sprites. Does anyone have any constructive criticisms of the pirate?

Image

His left arm has 3 joints (red dots) not counting wrist, so one joint to many. Also, I'm not sure if his torso is drawn in the right plane. If I'm not wrong (and someone correct me if I'm not), torso and arms should be in plane that is parallel with head (eyes) and perpendicular to feet (red lines), but it's not.

Hope it was constructive enough.

Keep up with good work,
I.

Oh. :D Maybe you should give the green MAGE (not cleric) an orb instead of a cross, to differentiate their power.
