They need more contrast in shading, the lighlights should be lighter. Maybe they could use a bit more variance in colours too, now they look more like "The Turd Coloured Elves."
Tiedäthän kuinka pelataan.
Tiedäthän, vihtahousua vastaan.
Tiedäthän, solmu kravatin, se kantaa niin synnit

I now know why I rejected that request.
EDIT: I mean, even I know that this stuff won't interest people. That's why in my campaign I try to make new art instead of recoloring existent. Also the main reason I prefer to use the mainline wood-elves until I can create custom ones and override the mainline unit WML cache with some new feature added to the engine.
Also, this elvish craze is the basic reason because of which I dropped the idea of putting Dark Elves in underground scenarios.
I know you don't like criticism FireMaster, and I know that it is really hard to accept criticism, but if you did, like I do (do I?), you would be pointing to the correct direction with a solid faction concept and artwork. I mean, it's nothing personal, but I think you are not listening to other people's suggestions. I specially would recommend you not to consider suggestions of people who joined recently, but to consider those of elders like zookeeper and Shadow*.
Just my thoughts.
I think I am thinking too much lately.
EDIT2: Shadow/wayfarer, not Shadow Master/ShikadiLord.

I'd agree that people like ShadFarer (Waydow?) definitely know what they are talking about and should be listened to. I wouldn't necessarily say, however, that the opinions of those who joined recently are moot just because they joined recently. That's a very isolationist attitude, and likely IMO to lead to the stagnation of a community. If someone has good advice, I would always be willing to listen to it (though I would agree that it's worth paying more heed to the advice of experts and/or those of long standing in the community).
Don't discount/accept suggestions and advice because of the source, discount/accept them because of the content. It may be worth paying more attention to experts and those of longer/higher standing in a community simply because one gains standing in a community by giving good advice =D
Long story short: not all newbies are n00bs. Some of us can be useful =P
I don't want to get into crit of these, FireMaster, because you've heard it before, from me and from others.

You got it better than me. I meant, you can listen to new people, but always elders take preference.

Don't take me too serious I tend to have a strong opinion. Some might say biased. (Though I would answer shut up)
What strikes me that some people lack the ability to self-criticism. Actual I hate it to be the killjoy.
That's why I actual save me one or the other post and let it rest. (I know hardly believable and yes I could be even more a pest)
That's why I'll actual just say you won't get far with simple recolors FireMaster.
If I think about it I should save me the account Wayshadow
