any body know of a good free mac compatible 3d modeling program, for now i'm using google scetchup and it sucks

Nope.

Gosh, that sounds like a market opportunity, doesn't it? Especially seeing how so many "graphics people" use macs.

i think Blender Should work with macs.

but it can take some time to get good at it, but when you have learnt it is surprisingly good.

Wings 3D that I used to make the models in this thread runs on Mac too, though it doesn't contain animation.

ETA: Also K-3D should have Mac support pretty soon.

Then there is Art of Illusion, which is 24 carat Java, so it runs on Mac.
