A New Land Era

Hello, this this is the feedback and bug report thread for my era ANLEra
It takes the macros found in the mainline scenario A New Land, and adds more factions, such as Elves, Dwarves, Orcs, Outlaws, Undead and Drakes.
It is on the 1.12.x add-ons server.

In 1.12.1 after researching an new unit the option to select which one does not appear on rightclick and gives "<invalid wml found> tag else blablah.." from that point on.

Is this for the Humans only, or for everyone? Today it worked for me with Elves, but not Humans. I am working on it. Do you have any idea what it could be?

I was human with opponent orc, wasnt working for us both either.
Perhaps an misplaced opening tag(one line higher/lower than where it should be)

I found the problem, there was a different version of ANL_research_options.cfg in a different folder, so I fixed it and will put a new version out on the add-ons server when I fix another bug. Thanks for the help and bug report!

The invalid wml tag else message is still occuring with the new version, could it be that this has a cause other than the file you have deleted ? This time was playing with drakes, and i could select the next recruit this time, but still...
Another bug: I ordered to plant grass, with the intention to extend my castle there, tile turned into shallow water, had to fill with land then finally could build the castle on it, taking 3 turns and more gold than intended.
Btw i can recommend changing the worker unit for drakes as the blades will appear somewhen, making it hard to distinguish them from drake fighters. Maybe should make it a saurian worker.
Drake druid seems to be missing its attacking anims.

The "invalid wml tag else" is hiding somewhere, but seems to do nothing. I think I fixed the grass bug, and the missing Drake Druid images. As for the Drake Fighters, I am still deciding what to do with them.

I have been quietly updating this, if anyone notices any bugs, I would be glad to hear of them, although I may not get to fixing them them immediately.

I have updated this (1.0.1) to let the different factions build different styles of buildings, but the drakes still might need their own castle...

Please report this to the author or maintainer of this add-on.

I had the same problem and I fixed it by replacing all the \ by /

Ah, right. Thanks for the reminder about "/" vs "\"

Is it sill not fixed?

I also forgot to mention I have released a new version (1.2) that reorganizes the code and files.

Hello Alexey,

I had not seem your post until now, sorry for not replying.

I have not been experiencing this problem on my computer, but I will release a version which might fix the problem (1.2.1b,) but if it does not, please tell me.

I just realized I mixed this addon up with New Settlers. :roll:
Nevermind what I just wrote before.
Try out the dark board theme.
