Sorry, I haven't gotten a chance to look at it yet. I've been busy with RL and stuff.

If it's ok, I think I might drop out of this one for now :( . I am "ok" at making small edits on unit art, but I don't think that I can do anything on my own that's good enough for this era. I'll still lurk around, and if there are any edits that I might be able to make, I'll be more than happy to help you out :) . I think I'll look into learning WML, so might be able to help there. Also, to make your lives easier, I could help code unit files if you need any of that done (don't know how to code animation stuffs yet).
I'm finally admitting that this will be a very long (if not permanent) Wesbreak. Thank y'all for the great times, and may Wesnoth rise to become one of the most popular games on the planet.

I'm sorry to hear that Elendil, but I'll have you know, (in case it wasn't apparent) I'm not that good of an artist either. Feel free to poke around trying your hand at things be they in WML or in art though.

Also, Huston, what are we waiting for that's keeping us from uploading the Nordhris to the addon server?

the rest of the unit sprites >.<

the prowler line needs finished and the warlord needs finished and there are a few more i don't remember off hand what they are. but even once the Nordhris are on the add-on server, i will not allow a new faction to start being developed until all the nordhris have unit descriptions

What about that ancestor unit and the pink unicorn units. Have they been added to the code?

maybe mention something about the shamen being the bane of undead creature (to reflect actual gameplay)?

no they haven't i am waiting to add them. once i see sprites for them, i will add them, but the nordhris can be uploaded without them if they don't have sprites, and then they can be added later. the rest of the sprites that need done and the descriptions are more important currently

for the giant crab, the description says "Their skill in using water blasts has become as deadly as the most accurate elven archers.", so it should probably have marksman for the ranged attack so that the description makes sense ingame. plus its a level 3 unit, so it really won't affect balance that much/at all.

I think that was put in because the damage the crab does is a bit more than the damage that the lvl 1 elf archer does. I think it might be a bit too much, because now you have a lvl 3 with decent damage that can snipe at good melee units with high accuracy and little retaliation. Maybe it would be better to change the description?

As long as you're mucking about the brungar files, do you mind putting in all the updates that were most recently agreed upon in the balancing thread on your spare time?

i guess, but if you compare it to most mainline lvl 3's, it is horribly weak. a 15-2 melee and 6-4 ranged, while units such as the master bowman have 8-3 melee/11-4 range, elf champion with 9-5 melee/9-3 range, elf avenger with 8-4 melee/10-4 range.

also, it would just look better if they had 0% dodge on unwalkable/unreachable since putting {UNREACHABLE} is saying that they have 1% dodge there lol :roll:

That's why it needs to be changed. (again, in the balancing thread). It's supposed to be 20-2 melee impact instead of 15-2 melee pierce. The entire crab line is still messed up, and the tamers are still overpowered. A few other units need changing too, but mostly just the crab and tamer lines.
