Servers back up, post any open problems here
Hiho!
As you might have seen, all the servers are back up again. The server is now a dedicated server at olm.net, let's see how it will work out for our usage.
In the crash right before the move some data was lost. We had to restore an old backup of the database. Due to this is all new forum accounts, forum posts and probably the attachments from the last two month were lost in the crash. Forum avatars have to be reuploaded since some problems with those occurred, too. The good news is that this is probably everything that was lost.
If you find any open problems, please report those in here.
EDIT: Made it explicit that not only posts but also accounts were lost.
EDIT 2: Okay, the add-on server is moved to the new machine, too. That is it is already available at add-ons.wesnoth.org. The DNS entry for campaigns.wesnoth.org will soon be updated to point to the new machine, too. The content of the server is identical, no matter if you use campaigns.wesnoth.org (once you get the new DNS entry) or add-ons.wesnoth.org. On both you will find content for 1.2.x, 1.4.x and 1.5.x.

Looks like the smileys table got corrupted in the backup:
(Table as in the table/list that you see while posting/editing posts)

All of my posts are gone, and I have to register again... This is a problem, I think.

They stated in an announcement that might happen.
3P MP Scenario - Great Dwarves Escape
The best way to learn is to follow. In order to learn WML, you have to follow other's work, and check their codes.

Tank you for your hard work. Maybe the phpBB sould be updated to 3.02? More language files for the board would be nice, but this is just a feature request.
The following little problem was there before the server chrash, too: Please allow .dev as an extension for uploads, so that the dev-cpp project files can be uploaded here.
By the way: Whom can I ask for the svn-right to the dev-cpp project files?
Does anybody know when the home url http://www.wesnoth.org will work again? It worked, but since wiki and forum are fine the home site is empty.

The download page is still down, why? shouldn't everything be back to normal as clearly stated in the saturday announcement?
Re: Servers back up, post any open problems here
Those work for me. Could be a DNS issue on your ISPs.
(Since mine could be doing the same, I have had the following line on my /etc/hosts file since the server was moved to Olm:)

Well, I have been able to get to the page through an announcement that 1.5.0 was released. (It was only one that worked)
p.s. When did wesnoth start requiring you to install BfW it yourself?

Peter the Great: huh?
Anyway, people who have problem adapting to this huge rollback may find some help here:

It's a partial mirroring of some forum pages I still had in my browser cache after the crash.
