Thanks for testing it. I found the above file, on my system, under "C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM". I think that is native to windows 98, or something.
I include it as an attachment here, perhaps you can put it under your SYSTEM folder, or, perhaps, into the folder where the rest of the files are. It would be helpful if you could try both, and tell me if either worked. :)

Works in the same folder, but now it wants xnmte458.dll as well.

Still won't work, but the error message is to do with visual studio just-in-time debugger, and I get that randomly with all programs, regardless of whether or not they worked before I installed visual studio. So I think it should work, but it won't on my computer due to it's unstability.

With the update to phpBB3 we do now need an updated version of this extension. Anyone willing to port it?

Currently the plugin is inactive.

Actualy the best, and probably easisest solution would be to port it to javascript. That would obsolete the need of deep integration with forum scripts and as such make it much more portable in the future.

If anyone wants to have a go at it javascript module that gets the map text and outputs an image would be the preffered option

unfortunately it would also make the rendering even slower.
