Okay, just tested, the add-on server is down now. You might want to wait until tomorrow (or later in the day if you live elsewhere, here in Philly it's 1am) and upload it then.

for you to be able to see the png next to the addon, wesnoth has to already be able to locate it. a custom png, since it is in your addon, can't be located by wesnoth until after the addon has been downloaded. so i suppose that you could use a custom png, but the only people who would be able to see it would be people who already have the addon.

Done. Version 1.0 of my map pack has been published... :D

I think if you want for any reason to contact ivanovic (i think), you need to give him the passphrase so he knows it really is you. If you want to edit, raise the version number (say from 1.0.0 to 1.0.1), and click the upload button again.

Who is to say whether a map has enough potential to go mainline or not?

I think that these are pretty decent, but are definitely not balanced and distinct enough to go into mainline. (The distinctiveness is more so what I'm after, and I'm not seeing much new here.) If jb, Velensk, or F8_Binds were fond of either of the 2v2s, we could think about it, but those are currently a "no" for me.

One thing I'd definitely recommend for now is to take a closer look at the village spacing on the 1v1- You have two guaranteed village steals for player 1 in most matchups.
I will not tell you my corner / where threads don't get locked because of mostly no reason /
because I don't want your hostile disease / to spread all over the world.
I prefer that corner to remain hidden /
without your noses.

Ive never really made an update to the 2p version of The Peak. Guess it could use some work... :P

The map I was really leaning on was 4p - Greak Lakes

HOWEVER...

Im quite aware you might think some change is necessary. Im way to in-experienced to make the perfect map. Just thought that this map had some serious potential...

Guess I was wrong... :P :cry: :roll:

No biggy. I will continue trying to improve them. :eng:

Hey, I didn't say that it didn't have potential. It does.

In regards to the 2v2, I made mention of Velensk, jb and F8_Binds because they're map-folk who are generally more interested in 2v2s than I am, and if they want such a map to go into mainline, that's cool with me. If you do want me to do a more in-depth review of Great Lakes and make some suggestions though, I will, when I have more time tomorrow. Maybe one of them will beat me to it- we'll see. :)
