Tank unit?

Post by Dreadwing »

Units that don't have any attack?or not?
Like I don't know:

Loyalists-Tank:some kinda of medieval cart thingy I forgot what its call...
Northenerst-Slave Orge:Big ass orge with lots of hp in chains(yeah LOTR)
Rebel-ElderWood:just a old tree more Wose.
Undead-CorpsePile:pile of dead with (0-2)Poison!
Aliance-Golem:well not being able to attack stinks..
Drake-FatDrake:overwieght drake who can't move much.

Should cost alot since they are tanks...just an idea what you think?

Since you said, "what do you think?" I'll give you my honest, blunt, answer: It's stupid. If your talking about a unit that is simply meant to take hits, it's even more ridiculus. No one would wast their money on that, I'd personally rather spend it on spearmen so I could make a whole line of defense.

Not only would "tanks" have no chance to kill the enemy, but if they were some level other than zero (which they'd want to be to have a ZOC), then they'd give the enemy experience for no risk. Not a wise strategy...

Don't feel discouraged man, you have cool ideas for unit concepts, just display them differently, maybe tank units that deal small damage, but have HUGE amounts of hp, live 50 for level 1.

[X] for fat drake :)

It would be cool if he explodes if you kill him.

Oh here add on...

Horse Wagon(some kind of tank): 70hp can carry units
Slave Orge: 70hp orge need attack (8-1)
Eternal Wose: 65hp !regen! maybe give it (2-2)range
CorpsePile: 60hp (1-3)Poison!
Golem: 45hp illuminates maybe (4-2)
FatDrake: 70hp Explode would be cool and (2-2)Firebreath

If they need to lvl theres those attack but I think no attack r better other then CorpsePile can poison units....
