Re: What are you reading right now?
I used to collect 40k and a bit of a few other systems - I kinda want to start again, but I have no money or time.
The Horus Heresy books are fun and usually reasonably well written, but high literature they definitely are not... The Black Library do have a pretty solid stable of authors, all told, however.

Read it. Horrible reading material, but as you said, educational... rather boring in my opinion.Telaron wrote:Currently reading 'Band of Brothers' by Stephen E. Ambrose. A book about E company, 506th regiment, 101st airborne. (Paratroopers). Pretty educational.
I'm not really around any more, but you can find me in TvTropes.

Can't wait for the next Safehold book to get to my library~
Re: What are you reading right now?
currently reading:
'The War of the Worlds', by H.G. Wells
'Cosmos (dutch edition)', by Carl Sagan
'Call of the Cthulhu and other weir stories', by H.P. Lovecraft
and very slowly working trough 'David Copperfield', by Charles Dickens, which is a fascinating book, however it is a bit difficult to work your way trough it (as a non-native speaker that is).

The Time Machine was good.
You are a Necromancer - Intelligent and powerful, yet reclusive and misunderstood, you dabble in dark arts that everyone else can only dream of.
Re: What are you reading right now?
it might be better if all of you guys said what genre this is you are reading, if its a novel or not, and the name of the author.

Those books always seem like a marketing trick to me... even though I like MTG.

Re: What are you reading right now?
Not related to any books in particular.
But discovering Google Reader has just given me an infusion of daily reading in overdrive from the increased number of sites I can now follow!
