Hi !
Do you ever dream to play Blackwater port in winter ? Now you can easily:
More seriously, here is a new feature of the generator: it can now use a plain Wesnoth map as a template and decorate it using the same options it has on generated map. For example, this crude draft:
can be processed to give instantly this map:
or this one:
and many more, just changing one or two settings. You can see everything present in the draft is retained in the final map (castles, villages, forests), but more are drawn automatically according to the settings. In this way, the user has more control on the result. The feature is activated giving the path to the template file in the MapGen.conf:
template=02_Blackwater_Port.map
but it can be used too in the normal mode if the parameter is omitted..
