Gwedry only gets xp when it kills something, while other units get xp just when the fight other enemy (or hit them, I don´t know); I don´t remember if it was this way with my other heroes (HttT), but I don´t think so...

Played Heir to the Throne on 0.7.9, on mac os x 10.2.8.

I have the following problem: I can't load a windows XP 0.7.8 save game on my Mac OS X 0.7.8
Both of the versions are the binaries, it's not a save game encoding problem, the save games look different in text editors, but both show the same version number.
in some scenario ( silent forest of Orcist campgain for example), there is nothing about turn number (like turn runs out ) but game ends after end of turn 30.

I'm using SuSE 8.1 and the SDL_devel packages that came with it. With the new versions I'll need SDL 1.2.7 to compile, but I have SDL 1.2.4. How do I update SDL? I'm afraid I'll ruin all the programs I have with SDL dependencies. :shock:
0.7.9 on linux, mouse cursor is sloppy in menu as well in game. Similar problem was with some older version but was corrected later.

I exeprience two things I think could be bug/feature request in scenario design or move checking.
when the boat accost to invade near us (orc player forces), it could go on a place which is occupied by another unit then it disappear, like a ghost ship ! :evil:
When units level by either killing or fighting with enemy units where the enemy unit initiates the combat the user does not get to choose what type of unit to be leveled into. I have attached a save game where I verified this. I am not sure it will help though.
I just compiled cvs and soon I noticed that /usr/local/bin/wesnoth is 31 mb and wesnoth_editor is 30 mb. I'm not that skilled but it doesn't seem right, perhaps something with the linking?
The following savefile is ridiculously slow for me. It's in the middle of the AI's turn. I've uploaded it to see if it works the same for everyone else, and to ask if anyone knows why.

If i press the space-bar usally it ends the turn of the actual unit and jumps to the next on. I use this feature often to check if there is another unit, i missed to move.
But: If an enemy is next to my unit, it does not end their turn and does not change the bulp from yellow to red.
