A bunch of ideas and stuff
Split User's Forum into "Feedback", "Strategy/Tips" and "Ideas". Create a "Campaigns" forum where everybody can pool ideas (and scenarios?), putting together a campaign by teamwork. New terrains: snow and ice! And a "King's Highway" which only takes ...

Great. I've got the scenario file running and bugtested by myself. Now for the map. Apparently someone thought it funny to crash my progs while transferring... writing map from scratch at the moment, but I should have it ready later this evening, and in time for 0.5.2. I'm gonna zip scenario and map...

Re: Volunteering to help with Undead Campaign
1) Different campaigns should be disjoint. Each campaign tells a seperate story, and should possibly be centuries apart from one another. 2) You can choose if you want it to be a more difficult campaign, or an easier campaign. You can choose if you want the user to be able to select between varying...

Volunteering to help with Undead Campaign
So far I've got one map, five new units and half a scenario coded. I've got ideas for about five scenarios. But I have to ask... 1.) Are the campaigns meant to be consecutive (ala Starcraft) or starting in the same point and each side winning (ala Warcraft)? 2.) Are there any rules I have to follow?...

Here are my new units ideas: Human: Sling Tower 30 gold, 1-15 ranged, 5 move, 60 exp, 40 hp. Cannot move in forest, hills, water or mounts. The idea is to get a Strong one and a Commander next to it. 3-15... Levels up to: Archery tower: 3-10, 6 move, 150 exp, 60 hp. Levels up to two: 1) Ballista Tow...

Minor map problem...
You know that map with the yellow dots and crossed swords that shows where your campaigns are. Well, they are removed each time you close and reopen Wesnoth. Strangely, it does NOT remove then if you save, exit and reload without closing the game. This is a minor hassle- since after discovering it, ...

Unit advancement
Say I get 500 exp on my Great Mage, want it to do summat. I'm trying to mod this in myself, I have a copy of Wesnoth folder for my modding and stuff... Can I do it this simply: Copy Great_Mage.cfg, rename it Master_Mage.cfg. Open Great_Mage.cfg, change advanceto=null into advanceto=Master Mage. Open...

How does Poison work? Can it kill a hero, effectively shortening the time limit on a scenario?

Sort of the same general problem for me- playing on easy, and being stuck for hours. Easy should be mostly a breeze. But I got stomped on several scenarios, notably Dwarven Doors, Ford of Ebez, and Gryphon Mountain. Easy seems to swing between Easy and Medium feelings- but yes, levels should have yo...

Walkthru on Dwarven road, help on Dwarven Doors
The Dwarven road was fairly hard even on Easy. The trolls regenerated and kept walloping me, and when the second mage brought gryphons, it didnt exactly help, or that my Paladin couldnt cross mountains... So when I beat it at last, I felt like sharing some tips with others. Here's what I did: I recr...
