Re: TSG, sprites reedition
wow, useful lesson. This is the kind of knowlegde I need for improve. About this work, standing for the lliutenent, I don't like at all. Continue thinking it's much exagerated. But I'm not stop here. I continue working on bouncing animations. I this case, I work with dwarf warrior. To see how factib...

Re: TSG, sprites reedition
Hi, these days I have thought that if I want to do all the animations of these units, I must to improve a bit the baseframe....So I tried, and you can see the changes on the image below. The new one, is more stylistic and have a more top perspective. Also I changed my colours method, reducing a lot ...

Re: TSG, sprites reedition
@king elendil: well....I don't know if the next explanation will satisfy your doubts: on animation that must to be the most subtle and soft as possible, you can't move a pixel the way you say. Instead of that, it is better to change the color of the pixel to produce the "moving" perception...

Re: TSG, sprites reedition
probably one of the most dificult animations I have tried, I really fight against pixels. But think I got something enought good to show. I decided to abandon the blur method to try with pure pixel art. Also, I modified something of the original baseframe, as the shadow or shield's movement.

Re: ghoul portrait
mmmm.....now I have fear of that creature. Good style. . My only concern, that is not really important, is that I imaginated this creature a bit more fat...without that accentuated abdominal muscles.

Wesnoth TC code
Well, I'm have dowloaded the wesnoth TC shadowmaster tool (thanks!) to work with my sprites. Before, Also I used Anime tool (thanks!) when I begun to work on TSG new sprites. What I want to say is that there's some little desajustment on the magenta range in my opinion. I will try to be more specifi...

Right, I also thought that was impossible make the breathing in that small scale. But one day I see this image on pixelation forum: http://pete.ptoing.net/BATMAN_Idle_S.gif ....and now I know is possible. The tecnique of that pixel artist is awesome. I'm analizing it for not to use the blur effect....

Re: TSG, sprites reedition
Well, when I Wrote that "I still must to depure some pixels" I'm talking about all those little imperfeccions (blurring, feather,shadows,etc).....My intention was to produce a breathing feeling and ask for your impression, and some of you have analized little imperfeccions with no importan...

Re: stone bridge
I really impressed by the elegance of your bridges. My only concern is that the floor have a bit repetitive tiles. Have you tried to make some crack or deteriored stone?

Re: TSG, sprites reedition
Hi!!! I still have to depure some pixels of that frames......but I think I got a good method to simulate the unit's breathing, like Street Fighter style, which is talked on standing topic. This method and others like sleepwalker's bobbing represents a very important improvement, in my opinion. So, d...
