What about magic users being able to cast lightning bolts into a row of enemies and hit the neighbor enemy and the enemy directly behind that?

What about units with ranged weapons being able to attack enemies which are one field away?

The enemy's recruitment pattern is heavily random. Then that's why some people believe Hasty Alliance and Sceptre of Fire are unbeatable. Statistics would be highly interesting for scenarios, too.

Number of killed/lost units
List of what particular units killed/lost
Total damage done/taken
Total experience gained

Optional statistics like that can be useful upon trying different tactics.
