Re: Multilingual Wiki for Users
Page names should be localised; prefixed by language code in parentheses, followed by space, like this: "(xx) Xxxxx". (The language code prefix makes easier navigation in "Recent changes" wiki menu. It also prevents namespace conflicts for similar languages. With parentheses, th...

Another aspect might be legal issues. I am not familiar with that but there may be restrictions in using graphics and story elements of LOTR. Anybody knows more about that? According the french laws (and http://www.wesnoth.org is hosted in France), Tolkien writtings will fall in the public domain i...

Well if the lite is aimed at modem players not broadband, so the different server speeds wouldn't affect them. That's true, the speed issue is not a bottleneck for modem users and could be fixed using a faster link. The lite version is rather aimed to show that a lite package is doable and to check...

Re: AI hesitant to hit...
AI is overly hesitant to hit our units if it levels them up. This is a mistake -- the AI should level them up and then hit them with more units. Not globaly a mistake. A good tactict may be to wait him to upgrade on his round then kill him next. So, the unit will attack you at his low level and you...

...it's in the usual 5gpv setting... :o Please tell me you're joking... With 5gpv and 8 villages you are able to recruit 6 or 7 new walking corpses each turn. Yes people play MP with this settings. But, as they often play on big maps, they should be bored to move all this units before the first fig...

This is, IMHO, a reason to bring back Wesnoth Lite, not a reason to reduce the quality of the music. (Wesnoth Lite means, no music and no extraneous art (like portraits) are downloaded. Of course, this is 2 different points. it was available a while ago, but no one downloaded it, so people stopped ...

Some midi files could increase the game background music length without increasing the package size much. Quality for sound cards varies a lot, so it should be optional and, if possible, autodetected. Either NO-MUSIC and seperate music download (so you can start playing within minutes even with a 56...

Re: Modified unit advancements in MP Eras
One side effect is that i have two time the unit in the help since there are actually two units with the same name... It's not the same units because they don't have the same upgrade. You may want to add a custom string like "(Peasant Era)" in the unit description to avoid user confusions.
