Re: Monsters!
Wow, after taking a look at the old scorpion I did it looks ridiculously bad. What the hell is that supposed to be, a stay-puft marshmallow scorpion?

https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/30179243/Pixelart/Wesnoth%20Original%20Works/bird_spective.PNG You've definitely improved, but you're right- the perspective is somewhat off. You've got three choices here- reposition either of the wings, or basically redraw the central figure to have a more side...

Re: Zero's art
https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/30179243/Pixelart/zeus.PNG Been kind of busy- made this for fun over the last week or so with someone else's palette. I'm about to finish a bigger for-fun thingy, so expect to see that too in the somewhat-near future. E: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/301792...

Re: LordBob's commissionned work
Wow, that is one grumpy grumptastic face. I almost want to giggle which is probably not the reaction you were hoping for, here. Neck might seem a bit long but I trust LordBob knows what he's doing when it comes to anatomy in this case. It sure helps make her look exactly like an evil dominatrix past...

Re: Zero's art
Recolored the green guys with the palette Blarumyrran used for the dragon and added a few more sprites.

Re: Gallery of One's Failure
Quick revision to tighten up the blocking, get rid of the flyswattedness at least a /little/, and work in a few lines as well.

Re: Outsider Art for Bad Moon Rising
I'm thinking you're over-relying on perfect orthogonal and diagonal lines. The ram's chestplate is practically made of octagons, and its back is straight like an arrow. The lv2 purple horse's profile and hoof-blades are very very angular. The armored horse line also suffers a bit from too many horiz...

Re: Khalifate facelift: Redux
Wow, I've gotta study some of the techniques you used here. The wyvern's head-neck area is amazingly readable for all the detail you packed in, and I'd love to see the unit get in! (It'd definitely shut up the people complaining about a lack of fantasy flavor in the Khalifate for sure.)

Re: ITS TIME FOR FRANKENSPRITES
High praise from the both of you! In response to LordBob, I just do this stuff for fun and practice, really. Spriting's applications these days are mostly in the realm of videogames, and mockups are basically the equivalent to a study for videogames. https://dl.dropbox.com/u/30179243/Pixelart/MSPA%2...

Re: LordBob's random stuff : wraith
Yeah, if I had to pick I'd probably go with G's pose as well.
Heh, in the old days we'd have basically 9 workable portraits right here all in one place, no need to go any further in detail. How Wesnoth's art has changed since then...
