Also, if you have it set to fast animations, you won't see the healing take place. Ctrl + A toggles that.

Aha, is this an era before humanoids evolved? Sounds pretty neat either way.

Re: I see what you mean, but...

Far from whining, I think Sauron brings up a very relevent point. I don't quite have the grasp on this game that I would need to make such a judgement, but I've seen it in a lot of other games. It's quite possible that some tries at a scenario are doomed from the start due to bad luck. While this do...

I've built a wall of WCs once and it worked great in a 1v1 game vs AI on Crater Lake. The thing is, I didn't do it right at the start, but when the enemy started really pushing through. Contrary to them "already" winning, they had to use precious resources to upkeep some leveled up units. ...

Right, you'd want to keep things proportional. The Thunderstick 18 dmg - 1 atk compares to the Dwarven melee 6 dmg - 3 atks, and thus effects things like flipping a coin rather than having a chance at doing average damage. Theoretically the damage should average out over a several turns, but we know...

Alternate attack workings

We've seen people ask for a "less random" game before. I'm not going to totally advocate that, but you know how much it sucks when your Grand Knight charges, only to miss with both of his attacks. So, I'm going to just give an idea that puts the idea of a "less random game" into ...

OK, talk is cheap so I've started playing around with CampGen and have already started some pre-writing for the storyline. Here's to hoping I don't lose interest before I'm done!

Same thing here, Nerdanel. I don't have any selfdoubt as far as ability, but we all know it's generally more fun and a lot easier just to play other peoples work.

Interesting takes on everything. I really need to check out the Dark Hordes after I'm done my current game. I do actually think Necromancy is necissarily evil, or at least perserve, since it takes unwilling bodies and souls and forces them to do your bidding. It's at least "unnatural" in t...

Undead Campaign?

I've looked and looked but I haven't found any Undead campaigns. The only thing I found is that "3 Tests" one which is seriously lacking. Am I missing a campaign anywhere? I think there is some real good potential for Undead campaigning, but it would obviously be quite a bit different from...

I've been trying to play as undead lately and, while having general trouble with undead, found WCs rather useful at points. In some maps I've found that it's best to bleed your opponents out by using ghosts to take out as many villages as possible and then let your opponents keep leveled up units wi...

First time poster, just saying I think what the developers have done with this game is incredible. Mad props.

The points that the first poster, Orgemage, brings up are an excellent list of reasons why I like the game and think it's something really unique.
