I think these can be used in a good historical campaign about the rise and fall of Rome. The rise and fall might be kind of hard because it wouldn't make sense to recall troops, but something like the Punic wars, or Caesar's conquests in Gaul, or the civil wars in the late republic might be fun. I ...

If you added that you would probably need to remove the riders ranged attack, and make his melee a slightly stronger to balance it. If you didn't the two units would be too similar. part of the racial identity of the Elves in Battle for Wesnoth is that they all have some kind of ranged attack, like...

Re: Request: New unpassable terrain

IMy suggestions: * Step and craggy mountains (these should preferably be in the same style as the new mountains I'm working on meaning I would probably have to do them, which would delay them for a while...) * Cliff * Wall The problem is flying units, not very much would convincingly look like it c...

This idea has been suggested numorous times, and, even though it's never been implemented, I love the idea. Especially the camel rider. Wesnoth had a distinct lack of variety when it comes to mounted unit. So far it is only horses, wolves, gryphons, or dead birds. I think camel riders would be amazi...

[quote="Nixs"If say I wanted to use the Dragon Statue icon in a pool of water for a lovely little Fountain effect, can I put in a code in WML in the scenario or do I have to use a map editor?[/quote]

That would be done in WML
