And really, if you think about it, if Malin didn't repel the orcs with Necromancy he would either 1: get kicked out later for using necromancy 2: Go on to live a normal life, which wouldn't be much of a campaign (i'd personally have given people who beat this scenario the "and Malin goes on to...

Kaiser,
if you haven't watched pro replays yet (eg Faello's) I really recommend it. The "9" score you give to this and 2nd scenarios mean you miss smth important about the game...

@SBak: Gerrick is great as L3, he can even slow and has impact damage. Even if he had nothing of this, when you have a loyal unit with leadership, you should always level it. very true. You can even say "when you have a loyal unit, you should always level it." I mean, loyal units are grea...

ahhaha that will be truly non-standard map, I like it though)))taptap wrote: (7) What, if any, are changes you would have made to the scenario to make it more fun?
Make the bandits runaway upon seeing my army and let them leave the map on the left.

but obviously this exact campaign is way more prone to replay bugs than others. Maybe at least you have some clue what the reason for this?

Re: Scenario Review - EI: The Northern Outpost
(4) How clear and interesting did you find the dialog and storyline of the scenario? This is stupid. The whole campaign has dialogue that is awkward and completely unrealistic, even by Wesnoth standards, but having to cast a "spell" to be ambushed by bandits in a village makes no sense by...

Been playin Delfador's Memoirs campaign, and found this code in the "Clash at the Manor" scenario: # next code lifted from Silent Siege in Unstoppable Legion (not # tested); the idea is to make the riders head for the signposts [event] name=recruit first_time_only=no [filter] type=Cavalrym...

...one more thing, I think changing the order of sides might be beneficial for the balance. Make it like: 1) red (player) 2) purple 3) blue 4) black (ally) 5) green ...maybe 4) can come before 3) As is, it looks sort of unfair, every orc is given a chance to trample over your ally before they strike...

(1) What difficulty level and version of Wesnoth have you played the scenario on? 1.9.8, top difficulty, 380gp, no reloads (2) How difficult did you find the scenario? (1-10) Probably "7", difficult but not that tough. Killing the purple leader by turn 3 is essential to deny him spending ...

and btw, the last 30 turns I was clicking "end turn" like a monkey for a gold bonus, that's when the map became "non-typical" and "fun" to the full extent
