Re: dragon movement

$map_start[i] should be $map_start[$i] . Nice catch. It still doesn't seem to work though :hmm: I am not sure is it good subject to talk about that but i see its about problems with images, so i wish to tell cave walls (terrain type) looks really sucks close any castle terrain. Open editor map an c...

dragon movement

So I've been trying to do something to solve the problem with our awesome dragon sprite, illustrated by the attached image. It is so large that when it is moved next to impassable terrain like a cave wall, the sprite partially occupies the wall, which is very ugly. My solution is to simply prevent t...

Someone named CMG did this a fairly long time ago. I can't remember the name of the add-on though.

Re: cleave optimization

And the quotes did the job. Tested with a bunch of different situations and no errors yet. Thank you very much Celtic_Minstrel and JaMit :) As a bit of an aside... I tried to simplify it by eliminating one of my variables using alignment=$unit.alignment, and I think i've come up with a bit of an inc...

cleave optimization

I'm sure many of you are familiar with the neat little custom weapon special "cleave". I don't know who the original creator was, but props to them for their creativity. In its standard form, it does half the base damage of an attack to any units adjacent to both the attacker and the targe...

Re: What do you do in the real world?

Starting my sophomore year of college in a few months. Physics major, and planning to go into astrophysics later on :geek: . I race road bikes, love to ski (alpine of course), and hike whenever I get the chance. As for music, I'll listen to and love any kind of rock. Never really tried jazz, but I d...

Ability activated only after attack

Hello, I'm trying to make a modified version of the bloodlust ability that dugi posted in this thread: http://forums.wesnoth.org/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=36648 dugi's bloodlust is an aura ability that gives "charge" to the melee attack of any adjacent units that have the "latent charg...

Re: Kickstarter?

Aren't Kickstarters supposed to be very specific projects? Even if just "give us money" were allowed (doubt it), then I still don't think it would be really successful. What possible specific project would require a Kickstarter? Would developing a much smarter ai be specific enough? It al...

Re: Forgotten Kingdom

Announcing a new update. A number of significant changes, bugfixes, and polishing changes. Lots of credit to Adamant14 for all the help he gave me in the last couple of weeks. Here's a changelog -Replaced troll bladesman with a different unit, the 'troll mountain' a good defensive unit with better r...

Re: Forgotten Kingdom

Thanks to the fine work of Adamant14, I would like to announce that a new and improved version of Forgotten Kingdom has been uploaded to the 1.10 add-on server. Enjoy! :D Thanks for the kind offer to let me take over extending the campaign. I actually play with my son , and we were thinking of tryin...

Re: LordBob's commissionned work

I have to say, the lava hand looks awesome. However, I wonder about the wrist-rope so near to that fire. Don't you think it would catch and burn up pretty quickly if he's not careful? Perhaps move them to another part of the arm?

Re: Forgotten Kingdom

Wow, this is actually a really amazing coincidence. Earlier today, I got a private message from someone named Adamant14, telling me he liked Forgotten Kingdom so much that he took the time to update and make it compatible with Wesnoth v1.10. I was about to reply, but then I decided to check out the ...

They actually respond thoroughly to nearly all the criticism that has been flying around. http://www.invisiblechildren.com.s3-website-us-east-1.amazonaws.com/critiques.html these are the three ways we achieve that mission. Each is essential: 1) Document and make the world aware of the LRA. This incl...

Kony 2012

Joseph Kony is the leader of the LRA, a rebel group originally operating in Uganda that has now spread to other parts of Africa. Kony maintains his power by kidnapping children and turning them into child soldiers. His reign of terror has gone on for decades. He has taken roughly 30,000 children ove...
