Wiki

OK... I've edited via Wiki, but how does this relate to the links on wesnoth.whitevine.net? I'm getting confused again :-S

Any chance of updating the one posted on the website?

Hello, I know only one feedback message is not a lot, but that one should work as the frameworks are embedded. I also played that version quite a bit and would prefer to test non-embedded before releasing. So is there any chance that someone could upload that version: http://www.fairydreams.co.uk/ma...

Mac OS X Version

Hello, try the version at this location: http://www.fairydreams.co.uk/mac/wesnoth-latest.dmg It is a more recent build and has the libs embedded. I think the problem was I added the development frameworks (installed in the User frameworks directory) rather than the ones in the general frameworks dir...

Buttons and Artwork

I have to agree that just the end turn doesn't make sense. Either the most used (e.g. Recall, Recruit + End Turn), All or none would make sense. Do like it otherwise.

Sadly can't do elvish... closest I get is photographic fairies :-(

Cheers

Zooming

Fair enough... I'm sure whatever you choose will be a good option :D

I think it is a very nice UI touch but less critical to the other gameplay enhancements on your list ;-) as I had never noticed a problem until I saw the improved version!

Thanks

Zooming

Hello,

I do tend to zoom out (old monitor not up to huge resolutions). So the idea of an option on which to use would be great. If the code is straightforwardsd and takes similar arguements is there a reason we can't have a choice or would that be too complex?

Thanks

Thanks Ettin

Thanks for uploading that :-)

I've sent an email to Maccentral so we'll see if the give Wesnoth a mention. If so should increase Mac users awareness a lot :D

Apple Updates, CVS, etc

Thanks dave and fmunoz... there is a dearth of good Mac strategy games so this definitely fills a niche. On another note I updated the Apple Dev Tools with yesterday's update from Apple and the final missing part (which needed a fudge) has at last conformed. So now anyone else trying to build it sho...

Mac Versions

OK... points taken. I think the energy bar is definitely worth having as it makes the game far less frustrating, so a build is worthwhile. So now we have: Official Stable: http://www.fairydreams.co.uk/mac/wesnoth-0.4.dmg Official Dev from site (non-cvs): http://www.fairydreams.co.uk/mac/wesnoth-0.4....

Energy Bar

Thanks... whatever you changed did the trick: the energy bars are now working well :-)

Now all I need is to practice so I don't see them dropping so fast ;-)

I haven't uploaded the binary, will do that for v.0.5 :-)

OK... compiled the 0.4.7 version, but...

OK, clearly too addicted. I've compiled the 0.4.7 (that is now up at http://www.fairydreams.co.uk/mac/wesnoth-0.4.7.dmg ) Now for the problem :-( Both versions don't show the hitpoint bar updating. The numbers change when you examine units and they die on zero, but the bars insist on staying full (a...

Mac OS X version of 0.4

Hello, Saw this game on Friday and was disappointed there wasn't a MacOS X version, so... I have put a Mac OS X version (in a .dmg file) at: http://www.fairydreams.co.uk/mac/wesnoth-0.4.dmg If you'd like to upload it to this server then that would be good. I had some problems compiling and finally t...
