Re: Sleepwalker Animation Commissions WIP - Dwarves
The kinematics of the cloak don't work, I'm afraid - where's the wind coming from that blows it back? The gas from the expanding gunpowder shoots forward, and there's a strong impetus pushing the cloak in and around his body by the way HE's being blown back, so I just can't see how the cloak gets bl...

Re: rhyging5 animation comission - trolls
Crend: probably not too important, and not worth fussing about, but nonetheless a good point perhaps: maybe the brightest tone could stand to come down a few shades.
Animation looks excellent, subject to a little speeding up of the frames where the feet are on the floor.

I concur. Something akin to this would be good: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hJKpqb8ElFQ
It standing up to run just doesn't work.
Keep the basic motion to hand, though, it'll work nicely for the higher levels.

Re: LordBob's commissionned work
I recognise it's foreshortening, but I think the hand's come out a little too big - we've not often done depth-of-field tricks like that, and I think it's going to stand out perhaps a bit too much.

Re: LordBob's commissionned work
Don't sweat the feet too much, they probably won't be in the final cut of the portrait.

Re: Sleepwalker Animation Commissions WIP - Dwarves
Looks great to me. The rendering on the cloak of the Dragonguard rear in particular is lovely.

Re: Movies discussion
Suffice it to say, the Hobbit disappointed me hugely . I found it very hard not to focus on just how little the original tale of Bilbo discovering the big wide world remained, and how much the book had been changed. Some bits of it were really good, but most of it just didn't engage me. It was reall...

Concur - you've also managed to nail down the anatomy on Kitty's merfolk quite well by the looks of things. Good to colour.

I really like the extra arm. It's subtle and unsettling to notice, and therefore, perfect.

Re: LordBob's commissionned work
It's worth noting that the feet will almost certainly not be visible in the final in-game portrait, as the crop is usually waist-up only.
