Unsaveable scenario
I'd like to know if the
[set_variable]
name=^Eeloh_dead
value=0
[/set_variable]
is mistake [read bug] or not. Especially CTRL+E at the beginning of the variable name makes it unsaveable (save is correct, but load fails) on Linux If players cannot save the scenario, please, inform them

Well, then simply change DM to match HTTT? It's not so simple. DM doesn't begin at the Anduin, but near the in the southeast of the Weldyn, where the Delfador has finished magic lessons. The maps are oriented to be. HTTT describes that the Delfador was trained in the Anduin Isle. In DM Delfador kno...

Additional info
In Delfador's Memoirs (the part written by Joshua Parsons), Abez is THE BIG RIVER. But I've found (it is terrible to be a maintainer of Delfador's Memoirs) some inconsistences betwen HTTT and DM

Translation of Ford of Abez
Hi,
I have a simple question: what is the Abez? Is it the river or a place (city, country,...)?
Thanks,

male-female abilities
Hi, for good translation to Czech I need male and female variants of abilities. In English the Loyal (for both male and female, as all others) could be translated to Czech as verny (he) and verna (her). It is the same for others, such as silny/silna, houzevnaty/houzevnata, chytry/chytra,... I think ...

Reducing someone's movement for one turn is not IMHO that useful, no matter who you give the ability to. The only situation I can imagine actually wanting to reduce someone's movement is if I am fighting against a lone skirmisher/scout and want to make sure I can finish it off next turn. It's very ...

How to make opponent leader invisible?
Hi, I'm trying (as a new maintainer) to port Delfador's Memoirs to 1.0.2, but I have a big trouble. The fourth scenario, http://svn.berlios.de/viewcvs/wescamp-i18n/Delfadors_Memoirs-po/Delfadors_Memoirs/scenarios/swamp_fortress.cfg?rev=693&view=log is based on two summonning stones (instead of n...

Ok, nice general discussion, but the point is: if you want to make a game out of LOTR, sorry, you need to buy the official version and Wesnoth should not be jeopardized because of this. If on the other hand you are inspired by LOTR and want to make your own story that will develop as a Wesnoth camp...

Re: The Frequently Proposed Ideas (FPI) Thread
Ranged weapons should be able to reach across multiple hexes Background: suggestions that units such as archers (or perhaps catapults) should be able to fire their weapons across multiple tiles Result: although the game engine does support this, the developers do not feel it would enhance the game,...
