Hah! To think I gave up trying to compile it because I got so many warnings in XCode!

Shame I didn't know more about the nature of the warnings. I'll have to give it another go.

No, it definitely has been around awhile, certainly in SoBE, and it does relate to the accented names in some strange way.

Only more recently seen it in TRoW.

Very similar problem whilst playing 'Siege of Elensefar'. Tried to move a paladin onto a space that was actually out of range, but not indicated as such: loading map: '' loaded map: 0,0 loaded map: 23,42 scenario: 'The_Siege_of_Elensefar' has snapshot: yes setting replay to end... loading snapshot.....

Absolutely! BfW is easily good enough for the Apple download list. The basic requirements are listed on the application form. I think that it does need to get to a proper 1.0.0 release version to be submitted, though. Whilst it is stable, well developed, and Sith, Scott, Penguin and others have work...

The Silmarillion is an unsurpassed treasure trove for character and place names - you can make them actually mean something to a consistent, logical formula.

Love it. It is a bit like reading Deutoronomy or Numbers in the Bible, you need to dig.
