Re: B.U.R.S. (Bizarre and Unusual Recruit Styles)
thats a big list, i started with 1: loyalists no pierce when looking at the game, u realize that the 1 mage was also not necessary. leveled almost every cavalry XD but what i ACTUALLY wanted to say was, there should be a challenge room where almost impossible combos are tried out when facing a certa...

Re: B.U.R.S. (Bizarre and Unusual Recruit Styles)
this time i got a special gem for you guys: i recruited only 9 augurs and 5 fighters in total, playing vs orcs and dwarves. ally was an elf. now you might say, thats not bizzare and unusual enough because its a 2v2 and your ally could compensate for your strange recruits. thats why there was this ot...

Re: B.U.R.S. (Bizarre and Unusual Recruit Styles)
im going to look at the game soon, but why did u get banned ? imho clashers & augurs r quite necessary very often when playing drakes, not unusual. but against undeads id buy it =) ahaaaaaaaaaaaaa i know that replay quite well, unfortunately i was playing red at this time might have worked out f...

Re: B.U.R.S. (Bizarre and Unusual Recruit Styles)
the fun part of the strategy is, u might have a lot fewer gold than usual, but the strategic possibilities with 2 nagas behind the enemies back...uuuh that REALLY pays off :D to play it on hornshark against drakes i thought first >omg< , but somehow it wasnt so bad after all. they couldnt do as much...

Re: B.U.R.S. (Bizarre and Unusual Recruit Styles)
hi guys, here another example of a rather unusual initial recruitment: going ALL nagas, while the stats told me that i built 10 nagas in total on that map. sounds interesting ? it is !!! poor smozes certainly didnt expect this http://i530.photobucket.com/albums/dd341/woodmouse_/fighter-idle.gif

Re: B.U.R.S. (Bizarre and Unusual Recruit Styles)
Well, the guy with the grunts just got himself slaughtered deliberately, so it seems. maybe the replay looks like that, but before we started to play he said something like "no fun at all now" and i dont think that he wanted to get slaughtered in this match. he played quite seriously. may...

Re: B.U.R.S. (Bizarre and Unusual Recruit Styles)
i didnt announce i would produce only poachers, and of course u r right, it wouldnt work against an undead player who knew i was going to play that way. but it would work against an undead player, when i recruit a bunch of poachers at the first turn and then something else. wanna try ? :) neverthele...

Re: Bats: Flying Wonders?
bats the flying wonders again saved me from a horrible cavalry rush, which Quetzalcoatl expertly used on freelands. wait, bats you say? against cavalry ? well, i think everything is possible with these little monsters.
here goes the savegame, i was forced playing defender.
