Re: Random doodles: climbing skeleton WIP
Wait, are you seriously using a My Little Pony cartoon as a reference? Here's a googled link of someone explaining the physics of falling objects: http://wiki.answers.com/Q/How_fast_do_things_fall The thing is, you can only make out the rock about four times during the animation, which in the world ...

Re: Random doodles: climbing skeleton WIP
When rocks fall, they don't do it quite that fast. And when the hit the ground, they tend to bounce and roll across the ground a little (or simply shatter.)

Re: Dipsey's Masterpiece Thread
The shading on the trousers needs a bit of work. Right now the shadows at the bottom made it look like he's been wading in a dirty river. The source of light appears to be above him, hence the shadow he casts on the ground. Yet the highlights on his upper legs indicate the light is coming from the t...

Re: Dipsey's Masterpiece Thread
I really enjoy the mechanical aspects of art, and no offense to you Artistic dude... Vector/Raster graphics just dosen't do it for me. Now if it was anything like "real" sketching I'd probably enjoy it but the "Graphics side" really dosen't appeal to me unless it took me a long ...
Re: Kony 2012
Aye. But what really cheeses me off is the people saying, "it's been going on for years now, why has everyone suddenly become activists and there's a huge fuss." There's nothing wrong, or bad about everyone becoming aware of an issue, no matter how long it has been around. But there is eve...

Count me in. I don't know much mythology, but want to learn more and am a big fan of fantasy, and want to write my own fantasy in the future.

Re: tablet
Getting a decent tablet is highly recommended, but they're really expensive. I'd go for a wacom, spend as much money on one as your willing, but for your uses you probably won't need a huge one. (Or a really expensive one now that I think of it.)

Re: Re: Boldek's art dump (Shotguns!)
Go ahead and try to find an assault rifle without a magazine, if you don't believe me. I can almost guarantee that you wont find one (there are a couple of them which didn't really take off) and google images seems to agree with me. I don't think that the problem is that it looks too much like an as...

Re: Re: Boldek's art dump (Shotguns!)
I disagree completely about it looking too much like a rifle. Rifles have detachable magazines, which are a very visible part of the weapon. And there are a lot of shotguns out there that look more similar to a rifle than this one.

Re: Frogger's art. Possibles UMC story art.
Some semi-comlpete artwork for a UMC campaign I'm considering creating.
A 3D compass thing.
And a dragon figurehead on a longship.
Any critique would be great.
