If anyone wants to contact Square Enix, it should be on their personal / group capacity and not officially represent Battle for Wesnoth. Do organize and go ahead if you want.

How about requiring account registration and login to edit the wiki? That way, it would waste the spammers a lot of their time, while still being convenient to contributors. Spammers will have their accounts banned and emails blacklisted, and will have to register again.

I think the discontent here is the lack of acknowledgement by PhantasyRPG.com, the fact that they did not inform the artists and ask for their permission, and that they just use other people's hard work without contributing anything back to Wesnoth.

If there's going to be 3 levels of bats, I think this is good: L0 bat: undead-small-bat (both variations for two genders) L1 bat: undead-bat-red, undead-bat-darkred (two genders) L2 bat: undead-bloodbat Purple bats uncomfortably remind me of the evil Pokemon bat. Nothing is worse than that abominati...

A Powerful Curse, Cults

How about a curse lain on Haldric's kingdom by a powerful wizard? This curse was so powerful that it caused Lich Lords to rise from the dead. Mages fell to the dark side, and insidious dark adepts (human and elf) encourage others to join cults like Cult of the Damned and Cult of the Rising Moon. The...

I'll like to see less dialog and more sprite animation during the story telling process. Sort of like the "in-game engine cutscenes" that are often used today.

I like the new bone / arrow. It makes more sense in that position when the archer is getting ready to fire his bow.

I'm neutral about the colour change, but I agree that pink is definitely the wrong colour for an EVIL, UNDEAD remains of a corpse.

In HttT, orcs already have a Sea Orc. Why not derive a line from that unit?

I also only advance and recall loyal units in the campaign. In the later stages of the campaign, I recall less L3 units so I can recruit new ones and let my existing L1 and L2 ones advance. I tend to recall loyal L1 Heavy Infantry and other units which are close to the recruit cost.
