Another possible nit: should I be able to recall in 'Final Showdown'? Took out the lower-right lich (getting a message about "one down" that didn't have a context?) and am now summoning my recall list; feels wrong :-).

This falls squarely into the 'nit' category; overall, BMR is clearly a superb campaign. So, the nit: dogs are able to mount horses and transform into horsemen ;-). The game didn't end on caravan delivery - but that's because after 'delivering' the caravan to several places and having nothing happen, I gave up and killed the enemies. Checking the code, it looks as though there are only 4 hexes which trigger the 'delivery' event? That's annoying :-). I've played...

I agree that levelling is slow; honestly, though, there's *no* problem winning all scenarios without losing a single unit. Just ended the caravan delivery on turn 11/80, so I've a bankroll of >1000 gold for the next scenario; thus far, levelled four archers and a defender, with a bunch of other unit...

Enjoying this very much today; drake tactics (especially against other drakes) are interestingly different.

One small bug report: in 'Sea Journey,' the human Grand Marshall (Alamar) is in the recall list, which seems odd ;-)

Very much enjoying (as an academic!) the setting.

However, I really *hate* the persistant inability to recall. Scenario 2, OK, I understand and agree with the limit to new undead - but why cannot they then be recalled for the flight in scenario 3? Annoying.
