Liberty

Just finished the Liberty campain on 0.8.5 on Med.. All in all I would say that it was a really good campain. I expecially enjoyed the last senario. One problem I noticed though is that female outlaws don't have the ability to be upgraded to level three fugitives. I don't know if this is a bug or is...

I also used this stradagy, on hard with some griffians and elvish outriders... I had to use the save/load cheat to keep my heroes alive, but with more then 100 gold (which is all I had) I would say that this would work on hard, if one had some units to proect the heros.

First, I said the OPTION of killing the unit, there could be a prompt that says "Do you want to kill this unit?" As for stop swinging in the middle of battle, a unit that is level three, should have enough previous knowledge to know when someone is criticaly wonded, and would stop. As far ...

Wow this really got away from the original idea I had... All I wanted was something to have reason for continual use of level three units. First of all I think the idea of units advanceing to level 4 is a bad idea, as was posted earlier, the point of Wesnoth is to create a well balenced army, not a ...

I dont know if this point has been presented in this post, frankly I dont have time to read the entire thing, but I noticed that when I am playing as loyalists, the majority of there units have peircing attacks. Of corse the problem with that is that undead are very resistant to peircing attack, at ...

I find the problem is that this senario has no few turns and test of the clans has too many. If one where to mae these changes, the senario would be easier.

My two cents

Another idea that you could do is to place the heavy infantary really close to the orc castle. In this way people dont have enough time to retreat them, and must use them to defend against the orcs..... I know that the problem with this is that they might kill the orc leader before he has a chance t...

Acually I choose the second option, because I want my forces to completly be non-outlaw.... Right now I am in the 5th or 6th senario of the campain, and have seen know implications so far, but maby someone else has...

What to do about level 3 units

There has been some descussion about after a unit reaches level three, it should be given a bonus for every subsequent amound of experience reached, or it should be able to be upgraded to a level four unit. I have a differect suggestion. Many times when I play the leveling up of a unit is wonderful,...

It sounds to me as though people have seen these suggested modifications in other games and are wanted to place them in this game. I just want to say that one of the reasons I love Battle for Wesnoth is that it is unlike any game I have ever played before. If I wanted mana, summoning, long range att...

Well now that I think about it, creating a formal walkthrough isn't really going to work as well as I thought because of all the random things that can happen, however I did take a look at his notes, and I think I will continue them in that sort of fashion. However this is going to take me a while. ...

Walkthroughs?

I have noticed that a lot of people have been asking the same questions on the forum about various general stratagies to use in certain levels. Perhaps it might be worth while to creat a walkthrough for each campain on med, or easy. This way people will be able to go to there for suggested stragatie...

Right now I am re-playing the senarios on Medium without using the save/load cheat. I will admit that it is much harder, but the same recruiting stragaty I used when I was using the cheat still seems to work without it. I try to make my attack force as well rounded as possible. This means getting at...

Yes I realize that is "should be" but what I am noticing is a lack of hitting. Acually now that I think about it this is true for anything trying to hit when the chances of hitting are 70%, such as an enemy unit in terrain that gives that unit only 30% defence. I am just making sure that t...

Attacking modefiers

(Felt that I should put another post, cause this doesen't really quite fit into the last one)..... On 7.10 or 7.11, when you highlighted any units weapon it displayed a +,-,0 number modefier for your weapon versus each enemy unit that is on the board, however in 8.3 this has been removed. Was this i...
