Only passing by, a sudden pixel itch I had to scratch, nothing more. But sure, feel free to use this as a base for anything you want. Last I played was a 0.9.something, and what do I discover? Release plans for 1.2! Looks like Wesnoth has gone a long way, congratulations to all who participated. Now...

Re: In-game clock
Alas, bureaucrats are known for the watch at their wrist and the tie at their neck. They've been proudly sporting these two distinctive signs since the big bang, not much you can do about it, I'm afraid.MadMax wrote:the idea was bogged down by the bureaucracy.

Baseline, the unit has changed, people never notice both files unless they look at the files. I trust you never notice, but you may also have not noticed how many times we have fixed related issues cropping up, often many monthes after the change. So in short: no implementation before the name is f...

Yes, units from user campaigns leaking in the game is a real issue, not trivial, which will need to be addressed at some point. But until then, I'd strongly advise every campaign designers to be well behaved citizens and use tricks like Shade described to avoid affecting the game with their changes....

Multiplayer maps descriptions
I just committed support for multiplayer map descriptions. Just add a description= _ "This map is blah blah blah..." attribute in the [multiplayer] tag of your map, and voilà. You can use this feature to describe the type of game, suggest good settings, explain the goals, etc. Feel free...

PS: BTW, Jetryl, why is the source light top down for every mermaid? I think it is a part of what gives the weird feeling of mermaids. I assumed that for ALL units in the game, that is what the light source is supposed to be. The light comes from above, and possibly slightly to the right. The probl...

careful, circon that was one sided I concur. It is a useless game and proves nothing. Seeing a selection of units next to each others, be it just silhouettes or complete images, you can most of the time easily spot differences. Now, what is important is being able to make out, for an alone unit (wi...
