Is there a way to play the Conquest- maps/mod from older Wesnoth versions? Talking about the big maps that Lich Lord used to create and were played a lot many years ago ?

Hey guys, big Conquest/Conquest- fan here.

Is there a possibility that someone wants to put Conquest- in 1.14 as well?

And 2nd question, are there any conquest players left nowadays?

Actually the best explanation is that units are not balanced against other units, but factions in the default era are balanced to be as good as other factions. Thats why certain archer might be better than other archers while keeping the balance factions-wise .
