Re: What games are you playing right now?
I've just started to get back into Battle for Wesnoth, if only I didn't suck at the multilplayer! The Humble Indie Bundle has also been taking up a lot of my time; especially Atom Zombie Smasher and VVVVV. Finally I've been playing competitive Team Fortress 2 for around 2 and a half years now. We're...

Re: Humble Indie Bundle 3
I agree with you. I think that you have to look at the first game as a learning experience and not try to win it. I had the same experience but when I restarted it went a lot better and I won an short game. There are some different options that you can start off with, I like the one that lets you ch...

Re: Humble Indie Bundle 3
I can thoroughly recommend playing Atom Zombie Smasher, it's an interesting game and relatively easy to complete in a quick session. Of course that depends on the difficulty that you play.

Re: Humble Indie Bundle 3
I'll bet you didn't get very far that way. Of course not, but it felt like I would get the same result with my eyes open or closed, the controls were interesting but I couldn't configure them to a way that worked for me. It hasn't really got any harder in the ten or fifteen levels I've played, eith...

Re: Humble Indie Bundle 3
I bought this because I thought that I would like Revenge of the Titans, it turns out that whilst it's a good game, I love Atom Zombie Smasher much more. It's a nice change and strangely addictive. As for Hammerfight, I took an immediate dislike to it when I loaded it up and the first menu said pres...

General Strategies
I have tried to play wesnoth online, however I struggle as I have no idea what to do. Are there any general strategies that I can apply, anywhere I can pick up some general strategies or should I just play a lot of game and improvise as I go along?
Thanks in advance

Re: Am I asking too much?
Well, the only problem that I have is that if you are going to make it so that you fail if you lose a character then the slightest mistake could cost you the game which personally I don't like having to repeat it until I do it flawlessly. Maybe if you make it so that if the main character dies then ...

Re: Across The Channel
Ok, here is a few idea's that I had: *British infantry will have more attacks than french infantry due to better training that was present in the period. *French infantry will have more health as the french armies were bigger than the British armies - e.g. Waterloo *The healers will be medic wagons?...

Re: Anybody got any work for me to do?
I think the main thing will be to work out how we will implement everything, it's no use doing things if we don't know how the will work.

Re: Anybody got any work for me to do?
I wouldn't be at all surprised if you could change the unit's appearance as the health goes down - but what happens when they sit next to a healer and it goes back up again? How about changed the appearance of the healer? So that instead of being a person its a wagon which takes the wounded soldier...

Across The Channel
Ok, I have created this page so that there is one thread for all discussion about this campaign, it doesn't have a fully polished scenario yet but we a reworking towards it. Version 0.0.1 #Checked through unit files sorted them out (hopefully) and formatted them #Added a main.cfg #Added images, maps...
