Re: Nightmares
the lev 3 looks like an overgrown sheep - wooly and not nightmarish at all neat piee of art, but I'd question if that's your purpose for it on a side note the front of the lev1 seems to reveal a skull-like shape, the lev 2 has something resembling that as well though twisted sideways, perhaps that's...

Re: My Terrain (Mine!)
that's a decent idea, you could even go lazy and make supports on every tile aside the starting ones - that should make it easier to implement, maybe every second hex, didn't try playing around with terrain wml yet

Re: My Terrain (Mine!)
indeed it looks as if it was lying on some invisible surface a few steps below on a side note - it's awfully contrasting to the surroundings, perhaps you would be tempted to work on the style presented in one of the abandonned terrain graphics thread, there was such a hanging board bridge started th...

Lovely work on that white steel, I'd pick on a few details, but you're probably longing to get on with Meridia

Re: Help to get me started... Gothic lolita.
if you look at the slavers 'Entertainer' line in mercenaries (or in ageless), is that something that might help? also archers in archaic era - phantoms and water nymphs in ageless..dunno what faction are those just browse through ageless in debug mode (in the menu of creating units seems to be the e...

I'd say you've handled the ribbon quite neatly, but the crossbow movement is a tad jumpy, not to mention you seem to attack directly to the right, not ne/se

Re: Valkiers portraits: It's like I can touch you!
Lovely, but I'd find a few flaws - that weapon is definitely more looks than function - for one thing I'd make the shaft a tad thicker, the part which will jab him in the wrist if he swings the thing will have to go for WINR I guess. Another is again about thickness - this time of the left arm, espe...

Ya know there are still the health bars, those contrast a lot (not enough?) and I don't think they ever get covered
even if you're colourblind you should see at least contrast

Re: Recruiting animation speed
The animation is probably irrelevant for multiplayer synchronisation and marked in a units cfg file with plain text (well..plain wml that is)
in other words - you can edit it out with notepad so that the units don't have a recruiting animation
not the most convenient, but effective

for this kind of pose you might frankenstein after all - use the pikemans body with a paladins head and train your pixels with fixing up some distinctive details (not just recolours)
