It isn't unwise to recruit only some scouts or other quick units if you don't know what enemy are you facing. NOPE, this is Isar's we are speaking about, there is no scouting to be done. The goblin cutthroat has got an "extra ranged attack" AMLA which is useless since you have removed it's ranged attack.

It's "hakim", there's no letter or sound for "é" in classical arabic but in some dialects people do say "é" instead of "a".
The arabic word is "حكيم" which means "wise" or "sage".
I'm no expert tho.

In my opinion, the problem comes from you, because a good player wouldn't have to reload at almost every turn. He would use the debug mode instead.
