Re: Copy/Paste, Translate
There is no space below the input box. You mean to its side? I’d rather not add it until there is a better justification for its presence, especially since I plan to get this backported somehow. I meant to add it, yeah. Is it possible to spawn a context menu on right click events on the lobby chat?...

Re: Copy/Paste, Translate
I'd say add it below the input box, this place could be used for some more chat related tool buttons later (for example buttons that insert into input box some common commands).

I like the spikes. The "+spike" has also a better looking hand.

Re: Minimap Colors
Just my two cents- I think circles would be best for villages. Units are already displayed as squares on the minimap. Having rectangle villages might not be enough contrast to distinguish between the two. On the other hand, a circle could allude to unit's ellipse (which would be circle when viewed ...

Re: Portrait Tutorial
There are some images missing in the original post... maybe they should be hosted on Wesnoth wiki (or in the repository itself) instead of external sites?

Awesome. How do you swing something with a heavy, detachable head... without it actually detaching because of momentum?
I guess there is a runic latch in there somewhere.

I like those sprites. They don't really match usual Wesnoth style, but are classy indeed. Reminds me of how Windsong sprites are different yet pretty.

Re: Facts of Funny and Ridiculous settings series.
What I am doubting about is why don't an orc, regardless of how good he dodge, move as fast as other orcs do on their preferred terrians. Poacher is somehow good at finding cover in forest and swamp, but they are basically smallfooter Because regular orcs charge ahead, whereas assassin has to sneak...

Not to mention that a spine without other tissues or artificial (or magical) reinforcement isn't able to support anything.

Re: Avian Faction (The faction of winged people)
If you compare, for example Elvish Fighter and human Spearman , you'll see that the elf is much more weak to arcane attacks than the human. This is because, in Wesnoth at least, the more magical a race is, the weaker it is to arcane attacks. If I recall correctly, that is. Someone else could correct...
