Re: New logo translations: Speakers of ALL languages needed!
I did not meant you as a person, but as a team. Translating The Rise of Wesnoth while keeping Wesnoth as the name of the reign must not have been easy for a language that is not close to English. It is not without merit.

Re: New logo translations: Speakers of ALL languages needed!

Re: New logo translations: Speakers of ALL languages needed!
Galician (gl): http://forums.wesnoth.org/download/file.php?id=68247 The Galician image is actually not 100% OK. In Galician, titles of books, albums, movies and videogames only get the first word capitalized (plus words that must be capitalized for other reasons, such as proper nouns). That is, the...

Test with more space between the first and the second lines:trewe wrote:Also it looks so huge... Reinforced by the tiny spacer between the lines.
Better?
Note: It’s just a copy and paste fix, if this looks better than the original, I would fix those shadow issues here.

Re: Galician logos
Take a look at http://wiki.wesnoth.org/ImageLocalization#BfW_Logo if you haven’t already. Do you really think I made those two logos without following the steps in that page? :) What exactly do you want me to look at there? “Pick a font in which you would like to write the logo text. The English lo...

Galician logos
I’ve just reached 100% completeness in the Galician translation of text strings for the stable branch, and I’m thinking about getting the images done as well this weekend, so the translation in the next release really rocks. I’ve come up with the following two for the “The Battle for Wesnoth” and “T...

Re: Change the system: Use of translatewiki.net
I do not find the BfW system hard, but it is true I am kind of a power user, so not the best to give an opinion on that aspect. But I do believe, if translations were to be moved to somewhere easier for translators without many computing skills, translatewiki would not be the answer (I have used it ...

Windows Installer localization
Today I was suggested to review the Galician (gl) translation of the Windows installer, which I found at http://nsis.svn.sourceforge.net/viewvc/nsis/NSIS/trunk/Contrib/Language%20files/ The thing is, there seems to be some strings that are specific to The Battle for Wesnoth, which I found at http://...

Re: [PT-BR] Tradução do Ford of Abez

Campaign replays for translation
Hi, I'm translating Wesnoth into Galician, and in order to do a good translation I have to play all the campaigns, to be able to see the context for dialogues. Currently I'm playing Northern Rebirth, and while it easier than what I though at first, scenarios are still long. So I was wondering... ......

And translations improves a lot in this stable releases. That might be important for many non-English people.
