Re: Struggle For Freedom 1.3.2
nice sprites. TC is always useful and cool and everything as such. And just FYI for the fog clearer problem, if you really don't want them to be seen, you can create a unit with [hides] and no filter. (dang if wesnoth could have idea patents, i just made one!!) .....except that might make them not c...

Re: The Rebirth of Magic - Campaign in the Distant West - 0.2.1
WYRMY is right, the unit "wizard" hasn't been made yet and is meant to be unique to the campaign (unless someone uses it in an era or something). And sorry for not updating for a long time. What with school starting, life has been quite hectic. Because of this, no new scenarios for a littl...

Re: The Rebirth of Magic - Campaign in the Distant West - 0.2.1
Since they are soldiers chasing them, I don't think I could make it so you can beat them if they go all out, unless I make an extremely weak version of each unit (maybe a bit stronger than a peasant, but not much). And I have no idea what's happening with the erratic ai. I'll try to sort that out.

Re: Tying it all together
The continent isn't called Eos, and the world is called Irya or Irdya, not D'ydii. Waaaait... The world has a name? And the continent isn't called Wesnoth? Either we're not on the same page or there's some BIG details that I didn't know about the world of Wesnoth. :augh: Or are you still talking ab...

Re: Campaign help please
Just so you or anyone else looking to this thread for where syntax highlighting text editors are knows, there's a sticky in the WML Workshop for all of the editors that have highlighting (they need a plugin for WML that can be found there, thus, only those work, unless you know how to write your own...

Re: The Rebirth of Magic - Campaign in the Distant West - 0.2.1
Changing the portraits was the plan, but I need portraits first. :augh: :hmm: Do you have a suggestion for portraits that would work for the moment? I'd like Fyrus to have the same (or similar) face throughout the portraits, so it's going to be difficult. And thanks for pointing out the capital. I d...

Re: Tying it all together
Wow, you've definitely got a vision for how this is all going to work (though, to be honest, it makes my head spin ). I'm impressed.

My bad, I didn't realize the quote was part of the campaign.

If you have a definite way of identifying each unit (such as a unique name or unit type), then you could use the [protect_unit] tag, as shown here towards the bottom of the page.

Re: trouble with maps
Have you applied starting locations on the maps? This is fairly easy to do with the map editor. Click the little flag, choose a place on the map, then choose the player that starts there. Or is that what you meant when you said "I checked all three and they do have sides"?

Pardon my rudeness earlier. I seem to have a habit of letting myself get impatient.
And I agree with Turin. What's that supposed to mean?

Re: The Rebirth of Magic - Campaign in the Distant West - 0.2.0
Ok, the animation in the 1st scenario has been applied. Thanks again, WYRMY. It looks a ton better. I couldn't get the [secondary_attack] to work, so Teor dies by sword now. I don't know about the orcs coming back in. When I playtested it, it seemed impossible for me to even reach one of the leaders...
